Forevaly
Effective 23 July 2026. This policy explains how Forevaly handles personal data.
Data we collect. We process account and contact details, wedding and guest-list information, invitations and RSVP responses, attendance records, registry and payment references, support requests, uploaded images, and technical security logs. Forevaly does not store complete card or bank-login credentials.
Why we use it. We use data to provide the service, authenticate users, send requested invitations, process payments, prevent fraud, support customers, maintain security, meet legal obligations, and understand service performance. Where consent is required for optional communications, you may withdraw it.
Couples and guests. A couple controls the guest information they upload and must have a lawful reason to use it. Guests can claim invitations, provide RSVP details, and receive an attendance pass. Couples and authorized door teams can see information needed to manage their event.
Service providers. We share only necessary information with providers such as Clerk for authentication, Supabase for application data, Paystack for payments and settlement, Resend for email, and hosting or monitoring providers. Their processing is governed by their agreements and applicable law.
Retention and security. We retain information while an account or event is active and as needed for disputes, security, tax, and legal obligations. We use access controls, signed webhooks, restricted server credentials, and operational monitoring, but no online service is risk-free.
Your choices and rights. Subject to applicable Nigerian data-protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or information about processing. We may verify your identity and retain records where the law requires it.
International processing. Some providers may process data outside Nigeria. We use contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the service and applicable data-protection requirements.
Contact and complaints. Send privacy requests to support@yourdomain.com. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission where applicable.
